HOT TOPIC TUESDAY: Can You Be In Love With Two People?

Many say that your heart can only really belong to one. But why do people cheat then? Is it all for the lust, the sex, and the bedroom romp? How much of our heart is connected to our sex acts? Well as we continue to live life we realize that we can love and appreciate more than one person at a time. We usually realize that it’s not in the best interest of all involved if we are sexually intimate with more than one person at a time, but it does happen.

How about the situations where we are able to keep our legs closed, our panties on and our hands to ourselves, but we share intimate moments with someone that we are not married to, or dating? What does it mean? Does it mean that we’ve emotionally cheated on our spouse/lover?

Well, I think this can be best answered if the shoe was on the other foot, how would you feel if you found out your significant other was texting (not sexting), e-mailing, calling and sharing his/her day with someone outside of you? Doesn’t feel so good now, right? So what would you do? Would you go on a rampage of screaming and yelling? Would you calmly dig a bit deeper and talk to your man/woman about what is really going on and how its making you feel? What would you do if your partner said they think they’re falling in love with someone else? How do you wrap your mind around your relationship once the floor has been snatched from under you? Do you fight for your relationship? Do you let this third party win, because there is going to be one winner, so there will definitely be a loser. Can you lay your pride aside and fight until you know you need to walk away? How much do you really love this person after all? Is it worth the fight, the heartache and the doubt? Share your thoughts….

The heart (true love) can only be reserved for one, however, lust is a friend to many who has no restraint.

Myra you are right but in this day and age true love is losing the race to lust.
