I know you’ve heard the saying, “You can’t help who you fall in love with,” and while I believe this to be true – you can have problems from family, friends and society (as a whole) if you fall into love with a person who is from a different race.
Interracial dating has always been deemed “taboo” for so many but why? Should it matter what color a person’s skin color is? Absolutely not! However, you will find many people will vocally state their displeasure with someone dating the opposite race.
In the African-American community, black women have been noted for being the most outraged by black men dating white women. Well, I was asked to join a panel to talk about interracial dating and why a great number of black women are so angry black men are dating “outside of their race” –take a listen to our discussion:
